Privacy

Your Data

Your tracking data - including meal logs, symptom entries, notes, and optional wellbeing logs - is stored locally on your device unless you choose a feature that sends data for processing (described below).

Daily tracking photos you attach to a day are stored locally on your device. Wellbeing logging is for personal pattern tracking only, not mental health diagnosis or treatment.\n\nWe do not send your health content, notes, or tracking photos to Firebase Analytics or other product-analytics services.

Privacy - Photo meal logging (optional)

If you choose Photo Log (take or select a meal photo), the app sends a compressed copy of that photo to our meal-analysis service so we can suggest a meal name and ingredients.

You review and edit those suggestions before anything is saved. Only what you confirm is stored locally and used in your analysis.

We do not store meal photos on our own servers after analysis. Our service may use a third-party AI provider (for example Google Gemini) to process the image; that provider's retention and security terms apply to processing only.\n\nPhoto meal logging is optional. You can always log meals manually or with barcode scan instead.\n\nSuggestions are not medical advice and may miss hidden ingredients. You are responsible for confirming what you ate

Analytics & Product Improvement

We use anonymous usage analytics (via Firebase Analytics) to understand how the app is used and improve the experience.

This includes events such as:

  • app opens

  • screen views

  • feature usage (e.g. logging, barcode scanning, analysis views)

We do not collect or transmit:

  • meal or drink names

  • symptom details or severity

  • notes or free text

  • barcode values or product names

  • photos or image data

  • any personal identifiers

Analytics data is:

  • not linked to your identity

  • not used for advertising

  • not used for cross-app tracking

Your Control

You can manage analytics in Settings → Data Management:

  • Disable analytics at any time

  • This stops future anonymous usage tracking

Deleting Your Data

You can delete all your data at any time from Settings.

This will:

  • permanently remove all data stored in the app on your device

  • reset analytics data stored on your device

Future analytics collection will follow your current settings.

Note: Previously aggregated analytics data may not be fully removable from third-party systems, but it is not linked to your identity.
